About the Role

We are working on behalf of a well-regarded sixth form college in Birmingham to recruit a passionate and dedicated BTEC Science Teacher to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on students at Key Stage 5, helping them develop both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective BTEC Science lessons
  • Assess and monitor student progress and effective BTEC Science lessons
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.



Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • A degree in Science or a related field
  • Experience teaching BTEX Science at post-16 level
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
