Job Description: The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama TeacherTo join their lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Drama lessons to students at

Key Stage 5 (KS5). You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong love for the performing arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Drama lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in Drama or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Drama at secondary school level, ideally up to KS5.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Drama.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
