  • To lead and monitor the internal verification activities for Primary, Secondary and SEND Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and Post Graduate Teaching Apprenticeships.
  • Develop, plan and execute Quality Improvement Plans, driving and promoting continuous quality improvement and outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Mentor and support a team of Assessors to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery through observations, and deliver CPD training based on new and emerging trends. 
  • Lead regular standardisation meetings, as well as observations of teaching and learning.
  • Monitor the implementation of Additional Learning Support, including ALN and support plans.
  • Oversee the recruitment process - and end-to-end placement experience - for Trainee Teachers - particularly within underperforming settings, to ensure compliance and a positive experience. 
  • Analysis of learner data (progress, outcomes and feedback) to drive improvement and reduce out-of-funding risks.  
Essential Criteria:
  • Must hold QTS.
  • Ideally hold a recognised IQA qualification. 
  • Experience of quality assurance within education, teacher training or Apprenticeships.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
