Salary: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)

First for Education are seeking a passionate Secondary English Teacher to join one of our fantastic partner secondary schools in the Birmingham area. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and creative teacher who wants to inspire a love for English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.

The Role

As a Secondary English Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for English Language and Literature.

• Support students of mixed abilities and help them reach their potential.

• Prepare learners for GCSE exams and monitor academic progress.

• Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.

• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• A passion for motivating students to achieve their best.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
