Role and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a dynamic teacher with a passion for English to join the department from September 2025.

Key duties will include:

- Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

- Planning schemes of work that inspire, challenge, and support learners of all abilities.

- Tracking and assessing student progress to raise attainment.

- Managing classroom behaviour effectively to support learning.

- Supporting literacy and enrichment initiatives, including after-school and exam preparation sessions.

- Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental improvement.

- Providing pastoral support and acting as a form tutor.

- Working collaboratively to uphold high academic and behavioural standards.

- Engaging in continuous professional development and wider school life.

Essential Requirements:

- Degree in English or a relevant subject.

- QTS (or working towards it).
