Science Teacher (Chemistry Specialism) – Birmingham

Start date: After October Half Term - 03 November 2025

They are currently seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry to join their team on a long-term supply basis.

This is a full-time teaching role involving the delivery of engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to achieve their best and develop a passion for science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning, preparing and assessing work in line with the school’s curriculum
  • Supporting students of all abilities to make progress
  • Participating in relevant CPD training opportunities
  • Attending parents’ evenings and contributing to the wider school community

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science
  • Specialism in Chemistry with proven classroom experience at KS3 and KS4
  • A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to professional growth and collaborative working
