We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our pupils in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teaching and learning under the direction of class teachers and the SENCo.

  • Provide targeted 1:1 or small group support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN), including those with EHCPs.

  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality phonics sessions - experience with phonics is highly desirable.

  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom environments.

  • Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Essential Requirements:
  • A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

  • Proven experience supporting children with a range of SEN needs.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to working in a team.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable:
  • Experience delivering or supporting with phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds.
