Role Overview:
As the Team Manager - Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our supported living service in Birmingham. You will manage a team of support staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to our service users. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance managementEnsure the delivery of person-centered care and support to service usersDevelop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholdersMonitor and maintain the service's compliance with regulatory standards and company policiesManage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the serviceParticipate in on-call duties as requiredContribute to the development and implementation of service improvement plansAct as a role model for the team and promote a positive and inclusive work cultureRequirements:
Previous experience in a leadership or management role in a similar settingStrong knowledge and understanding of the needs of adults with learning disabilities and mental health needsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage and motivate a team effectivelyGood understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standardsStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant softwareNVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable)We Offer:
