ABC Teachers are seeking a passionate and reliable 1-1 Support Assistant to work in a school within a SEN school in Birmingham.
The Role:
- You will be providing support to pupils in a classroom environment on a 1-1 basis, academically, emotionally and socially
- Delivering personalised, creative activities that reflect each students needs and interests and abilities, whilst adapting the materials as and when required
- Collaboratively work with teachers and other professionals in the school setting
- Help maintaining a safe, inclusive environment and supporting the pupils and teachers as and when needed
- Keeping up to date and informed on regular routines for the pupils in your care to provide a comfortable and consistent school day

About you:
To be considered for the 1-1 Support Assistant role, you will:
Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
