About the Role:

You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs. Your role will involve:

  • Supporting students in both classroom and community-based learning
  • Assisting with personal care (if required)
  • Encouraging independence and life skills development
  • Promoting inclusion, engagement, and confidence

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Child and Adult Workforce Barred List, or willingness to apply for one
  • A patient, flexible, and compassionate attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
