Housing Officer (ASB)

Location: Hybrid - Covering Rugby, Northampton, East Northampton, Market Harborough, Blaby, Nuneaton & Bedworth.
Office base: Birmingham
Rate: 24 - 26 per hour (via umbrella)
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm)
Contract: 2-month temporary contract (strong potential for extension)
Driving: Full UK driving licence required

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Housing Officer (ASB) to join a Housing association on a temporary basis.
This is a hands-on Housing Officer role focused on managing complex anti-social behaviour and safeguarding cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working directly with tenants in general needs housing, particularly in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a frontline Housing Officer, managing a high-level ASB and safeguarding caseload
  • Conduct tenancy audits, investigations, and home visits across the assigned patches
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies and internal teams to resolve cases
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and housing policies
  • Deliver a trauma-informed and customer-focused approach to tenancy management

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience in a Housing Officer role with a strong ASB and safeguarding background
  • Ability to work independently, managing a complex and varied caseload
  • Experience with Northgate (NEC) is highly desirable
  • Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Those with limited support or advisory housing experience will not be suitable
