Are you ready to start a rewarding role where you can make a daily impact on young people's lives? Long Term Futures is working with a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Rubery that is looking for a dedicated Learning support Assistant to join its team immediately.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school community that places equal emphasis on academic achievement, personal growth, and emotional wellbeing. You'll be working closely with students who have a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional or behavioural challenges, helping them develop confidence and independence.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing tailored support to students in mainstream lessons and small group settings

  • Helping young people with emotional regulation, social skills, and resilience

  • Assisting teachers with adapting resources to ensure inclusive learning

  • Monitoring progress and sharing feedback to inform personalised support plans

  • Promoting a calm, respectful, and engaging learning environment every day

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school or similar setting

  • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to supporting learners

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships

  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team

  • A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is an advantage, but not essential with the right experience
