Are you ready to start a rewarding role where you can make a daily impact on young people's lives? Long Term Futures is working with a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Rubery that is looking for a dedicated Learning support Assistant to join its team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school community that places equal emphasis on academic achievement, personal growth, and emotional wellbeing. You'll be working closely with students who have a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional or behavioural challenges, helping them develop confidence and independence.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing tailored support to students in mainstream lessons and small group settings
Helping young people with emotional regulation, social skills, and resilience
Assisting teachers with adapting resources to ensure inclusive learning
Monitoring progress and sharing feedback to inform personalised support plans
Promoting a calm, respectful, and engaging learning environment every day
What We're Looking For
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school or similar setting
A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to supporting learners
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
A collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team
A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is an advantage, but not essential with the right experience
