Service Type: 5-Bed Children's Residential Home (EBD - Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)
Contract: Permanent | Full-time
Shift Pattern: 07:00 - 19:30 | 19:00 - 07:30 including weekends

Role:

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a key role in providing day-to-day care, support, and guidance to the young people in the home. Duties include:

  • Supporting daily routines such as school runs (Rowley Regis), mealtimes, and bedtime routines

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well being

  • Providing personal care when required

  • Supporting educational and recreational activities both indoors and outdoors

  • Facilitating family contact and maintaining safeguarding standards

  • Contributing to household duties, including cooking and cleaning

  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records

  • Acting as a Key Worker (depending on experience and role)

  • Driver preferred (must have business insurance if using own car; company car available when required)

Experience working with children or young people - either personally or professionally - is highly valued.

Training: Fully funded Level 3 qualification after 3 months of employment
