Job Title – Neighbourhood Team LeaderLocation – Coventry (with some travel to surrounding areas)Contract – Fixed Term Contract (6 months)Hours – Full Time, 37 hours per week + Out of hours coverRole summary –We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading housing provider for a Neighbourhood Team Leader to join their Coventry-based team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be responsible for leading and developing a team of Neighbourhood Officers who are dedicated to delivering outstanding tenancy and estate management services to around 19,000 customer homes. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on performance management, service consistency, and community impact.Salary – £52,791 per annumKey Responsibilities:
  • Line management of Neighbourhood Officers, providing support, supervision, and performance development
  • Oversight of tenancy management, estate issues, and ASB casework (including serious cases)
  • Lead on sensitive safeguarding matters and multi-agency liaison
  • Review and oversee block and estate inspections and tenancy review visits
  • Support new build property management and tenancy onboarding
  • Monitor team KPIs and contribute to service improvements
  • Ensure delivery of the new Tenancy Management Checks and upcoming inspection programmes
Requirements:
  • Active housing management experience
  • Proven team management skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Ability to work flexibly, including out of hours as required
  • Strong resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and safeguarding (desirable)
