A brilliant opportunity for an ambitious graduate to join a highly respected consultancy that has a large planning team nationwide. They work across a wide range of sectors and projects from small residential extensions to large-scale regeneration schemes. Areas of specialism include urban mixed-use developments, housing, retail, sports venues, energy infrastructure, master planning, urban design, environmental impact assessments, community engagement, and heritage planning.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications for a wide range of developments
  • Support the assembly of evidence and documentation required for planning submissions and appeals
  • Conduct research into planning policy, site constraints, and development potential
  • Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the planning process
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
  • Gain exposure to negotiations involving Section 106 agreements and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
  • Contribute to both major regeneration schemes and smaller-scale local projects

Requirements

  • RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related discipline
  • Interest in Planning
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal
  • Proactive and collaborative attitude
  • Full UK Driving License
