A brilliant opportunity for an ambitious graduate to join a highly respected consultancy that has a large planning team nationwide. They work across a wide range of sectors and projects from small residential extensions to large-scale regeneration schemes. Areas of specialism include urban mixed-use developments, housing, retail, sports venues, energy infrastructure, master planning, urban design, environmental impact assessments, community engagement, and heritage planning.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications for a wide range of developments
- Support the assembly of evidence and documentation required for planning submissions and appeals
- Conduct research into planning policy, site constraints, and development potential
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the planning process
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
- Gain exposure to negotiations involving Section 106 agreements and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
- Contribute to both major regeneration schemes and smaller-scale local projects
Requirements
- RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related discipline
- Interest in Planning
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication, written and verbal
- Proactive and collaborative attitude
- Full UK Driving License
