School Finance Officer
Based in Birmingham, between 2 sites in Perry Barr and Alum Rock

Your new company
A Secondary School of Academies in North Birmingham is looking for an interim Finance officer to work alongside the Finance Manager to support the finance function across 2 school sites, based in Perry Barr and Alum Rock. The cover is Monday to Friday, term time only, 8am - 4pm. The role is to start as soon as possible.
Your new role
The appointee will be carrying out a mixture of day-to-day financial tasks using PSF Financials, working under the direction of the Finance Manager. Your duties will include but not restricted to accounts payable, processing invoices, preparing payment runs and banking. The school needs to be an individual who is experienced in school's finances and accounts, have a knowledge of accounting procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have proven finance experience in the above ideally in a school and be able to work quickly under your initiative. You will also have recent satisfactory references for carrying out a similar placement within the last 2 years. You will also need to have a clear DBS check.
