Your new company
An academy of Schools is looking to appoint an interim Finance officer to support the finance function of the school's 2 sites. The role is to support the school whilst they try and appoint a permanent option.The cover is Monday to Friday, term time only, 8am - 4pm. To commence ASAP.
Your new role
The appointee will be carrying out a mixture of day-to-day financial tasks using SIMS PSF Financials, working under the direction of the Finance Business Partner of the Academy. Your duties will include but not restricted to accounts payable, processing invoices, working on budgets and banking this needs to be an individual who is experienced in school's finance and accounts, have a knowledge of local authority procedures and PSF Financials experience would be desirable.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have proven finance experience in the above ideally in a school and be able to work quickly under your initiative. You will also have recent satisfactory references for carrying out a similar placement within the last 2 years. You will also need to have a clear DBS check.
