Overview of the role:
EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Offline Programmer (CAD CAM) to join a precision engineering company located on the outskirts of Birmingham working on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manufacturing Manager in achieving objectives
- Create robust programs for CNC machinery
- Designing jigs, fixtures and press tools

Successful applicants for the role ofOffline Programmer (CAD CAM) must be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience working as aManufacturing Engineer with a focus on Laser, CNC milling, CNC TurningorWire EDM machining
- Previous experience in Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Power Generation, Medical, Nuclearindustries
- Minimum 5years experience in Programming offline using CAD CAM packages
- Engineering competence with Solidworks or similar CAD packages
- Able to create jigs and fixtures - tooling and fixturing design experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Proactive approach and strong willingness to learn new manufacturing techniques
