We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer to work in collaboration with our support functions and development teams. This hybrid role requires the successful candidate to work from our Solihull offices, twice a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and extend applications using the Power Platform while supporting existing solutions.
  • Working closely with stakeholders, clarify requirements and from experience, design and implement intelligent and functional solutions.
  • Ensuring all assigned development activities are performed to agreed quality, functionality and time objectives, escalating where appropriate to the Senior Developers/Project Manager/Scrum Master if the activities are not going to meet the required objectives.
  • Prioritisation of own development workload according to priority and required project delivery dates.
  • To develop and implement best-practise in support of external and internal project initiatives.
  • Participation in Sprint-based development initiatives and provision of support for all associated rituals.
  • Work with TXP and customers to deliver business commitments and proof of concept / demos.
  • Contribute towards the development of policies, standards and guidelines that support the selection, development, implementation, and use of Information Technology within the enterprise.
  • To maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure good communication.
  • Build customer and employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft technologies including Power platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Microsoft 365 (including Dynamics & SharePoint) and Azure components.
  • Experience delivering and supporting Canvas App applications.
  • Demonstrable expertise in Canvas App development including the following; Data sources with a focus on SharePoint and Dataverse, Delegation and Collections, Global and Local Variables, Component Libraries & PCF Components
  • Power Apps ALM process, deployment into environments via unmanaged/managed solution layering.
  • Experience conducting acceptance testing, user adoption and end-user training.
  • Experience with the Azure Platform.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and a good understanding of User Experience (UX) principles.
  • Expertise in JavaScript and C# Plugin development/debugging.
  • Awareness of community tools for D365 eg. XrmToolBox, Ribbon workbench.
  • Up to date with the Microsoft release road map for Power Apps.
  • Exposure to and an understanding of SharePoint/One drive integration (OOB)
  • Experience with Data Migration from external systems into Dynamics CRM and vice versa
  • Knowledge of D365 modules like CRM, Marketing, PSA and Field Services
