Behaviours that challenge expert!I am currently recruiting for a SEMH school in the North East Birmingham area that are looking to appoint vibrant, resilient support staff with SEMH needs & associated challenging behaviour experience.The children are KS1 to KS3 boys. The positions are to cover day to day, short and long term bookings. They are seeking people that have experience of working with individuals with SEMH & Autism, ADHD and behaviours that challenge. As a Learning Support Assistant (care or residential support experience will be considered), you will be working alongside the class Teacher and other staff supporting pupils with everyday school life, however, there will be times that you will need to be supporting children on a one to one and small groups bases. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy, safe and engaged.The school are looking for staff that have strong behaviour management skills, patients and a nurturing approach. I am happy to be working with this school as they truly care about their students and staff. It is a well equipped school and they have many facilities for their pupils.
