Primary SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Acocks - BirminghamAspire People are currently working alongside a Primary School in the Acocks area of Birmingham to find an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This position will involve working with a young child with SEND needs. This role is in a mainstream class but someone with SEND Experience would be ideal. This role is full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm.Requirements Of Applicant* Experienced/confident supporting children with challenging behaviour* Comfortable providing personal care where required* Able to adapt to the pupils varied moods* Available full time until July 2024Main Duties And Responsibilities* Working 1:1 with a SEND Pupil* Create a safe learning environment for the pupil and other pupils in the class* Ensure the child remains focused on lesson plans* Tailor support methods based off the mood of the child on each day* Follow policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelinesIf you have a caring and calming nature !
