Teaching Assistant (TA) - Special Educational Needs (SEN) School - Full Time
Location: Stechford
Start Date: Immediate
Academics are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our SEN school team in Stechford. This is a full-time position for an individual who is confident, strong and capable of managing challenging behaviour with professionalism and care. You will be based in the primary provision working alongside class teachers and supporting students inside and outside classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with special educational needs across different year groups
- Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour effectively
- Providing personal care to students as required
- Being adaptable and flexible to meet the diverse needs of our students
Requirements:
- SEN qualification is essential
- Experience working with children with complex needs and challenging behaviour
- Ability to work confidently in a variety of classroom settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
