Are you an enthusiastic and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a fresh opportunity?

We're working closely with a welcoming school in the heart of Handsworth, seeking a committed SEN TA to join their team this September. The role will involve a blend of 1:1 and small group support, working with pupils who may need extra help with communication, focus, or behaviour. You'll work alongside experienced staff to create a positive learning environment and help children access the curriculum with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils with additional needs in class and in small groups
Assisting with classroom routines and behaviour management
Working closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to deliver support strategies
Helping pupils build confidence, social skills and independence
Recording and sharing observations to track progress

You Will Need:

Previous experience supporting children with SEND
A calm, adaptable and proactive attitude
Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff alike
Reliable and confident working as part of a team
