Are you a patient, positive and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a friendly Birmingham primary school?

We're working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Small Heath area, seeking a confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join them from September. This role involves a mix of 1:1 and small group support. You'll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, speech and language delay, and social communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing tailored SEN support on a 1:1 and small group basis
Supporting classroom routines and helping children engage in learning
Working collaboratively with staff to deliver effective interventions
Promoting independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing
Helping monitor progress and adapting support to meet individual needs

You Will Need:

Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a primary setting
A calm, consistent and encouraging approach
Good understanding of early learning or KS1 development
Team player with clear communication and strong initiative
