Are you a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting children with ASD and non-verbal communication needs? This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in a structured, nurturing environment.

You'll provide 1:1 support and deliver tailored interventions to help pupils develop communication skills, manage routines, and engage in learning.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support children with ASD and non-verbal needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

  • Use visual timetables, structured routines, and alternative communication tools

  • Encourage independence and promote positive behaviour

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to deliver individualised strategies



What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting children with ASD and non-verbal communication needs

  • A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach

  • Strong understanding of structured support and visual aids

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
