Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to assist KS3 and KS4 students. Additional duties include:

work, without direct supervision, with groups and individual pupils including those with disabilities, to close the gap in progress through targeted and planned interventions
promote student independence
reinforce expectations of outstanding student behaviour
contribute to maintaining and analysing records of learners progress in conjunction with the class teacher and SENCO
analyse data on pupil progress to assess the impact of current interventions and to inform action plans for intervention
prepare or adapt resources and plan structured activities that interest and motivate students and advance their learning.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
It is essential that you have experience assisting learners in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child related references.
