We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support one of our partner schools in Handsworth, working within their dedicated Resource Base.

You will be working closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, providing tailored support to help them access learning and reach their full potential. This role is based within the school’s Resource Base, offering a structured, supportive environment for pupils who require more targeted intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Assisting with personalised learning plans and EHCP targets
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and key skills
  • Managing behaviour positively and calmly
  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
  • Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
