Winner Education are working with a secondary school in Selly Oak who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This is a long-term role, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, providing classroom and pastoral support.
What You’ll Do:-
Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis

Assist with classroom learning activities and lesson engagement

Support pupils with individual learning plans
-
Encourage positive behaviour and inclusion
-
Support pupils during breaks, lunch, and transitions
-
Work closely with teachers and support staff
-
Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
-
Experience supporting pupils with SEN
-
Patient, reliable, and able to build positive relationships
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Flexible and adaptable to pupils’ needs
-
Secondary school experience is desirable but not essential
-
