Smart Education is currently recruiting for Qualified Teachers to work across a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) Schools in the Birmingham area.
These roles provide an exciting opportunity to work with pupils with a wide range of needs, including MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), and Autism (ASC). You’ll be teaching students from primary through to post-16, helping them access education through creative, differentiated, and engaging lessons.

Role responsibilities:• Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of SEN pupils
• Supporting students with Autism, SEMH, MLD, PMLD, and other additional needs
• Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff
• Tracking and assessing pupil progress, setting achievable targets
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
