Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We're working with a fantastic Trust to support their welcoming primary school, seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their specialist resource base. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a well-resourced and supportive setting.

The Role:

  • Lead a small class of pupils with EHCPs, offering tailored support and structured learning.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of complex needs.
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and the SENCO to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Maintain consistent communication with parents and carers.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a specialist or resource base setting.
  • A postgraduate SEN qualification or similar is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching and behaviour strategies.
  • Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs.
