A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate SEN Class Teacher to join a committed team at a thriving special school in Birmingham, supporting pupils aged 3–11 with a range of complex needs, including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

What the Role Involves:
  • Delivering creative, engaging, and meaningful learning opportunities tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SLD, ASD, and PMLD

  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including onsite support from Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech and Language Therapy (SALT), and Birmingham Education Partnership (BEP)

  • Contributing to ongoing school improvement and the development of inclusive practice

  • Being part of a highly supportive and collaborative teaching team

Candidate Requirements:

The school is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic teacher who:

  • Has substantial experience working with children with SLD, ASD, and/or PMLD in early years, primary, or special school settings
