We are seeking a skilled Power Press Operator to join our well established client. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press machinery, ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The Job Role
- Operate and monitor press machinery to ensure efficient production processes.
- Working different tonnage of press up to 800 tonne
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and quality control checks.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and resolve any operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Expereicne/Requirments
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with hand tools and materials handling techniques is essential.
- Experience in fabrication processes
- Strong basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.

The package
- Temp to perm contract
- Working hours 7am till - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 12pm finish
- Starting rate of 12.50
- Overtime available
