We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Development Manager to join their Supply Chain team. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing supply chain processes through the discovery and onboarding of new business functions, specifically aimed at improving service delivery and operational efficiency across the EMEA’s North Retail Region.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Onboard new service providers, ensuring they meet the company's standards for quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and refine supply chain strategies.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage the integration of new services into existing supply chain operations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor the performance of newly implemented services, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to create reports and presentations that help drive decision-making processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, capable of manipulating data using pivot tables and charts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of SQL and other database management systems for data analysis.
