Job Title: Interim Acquisitions Surveyor Location: West Midlands (Hybrid working available, with site visits as required) Contract Type: 6-Month Contract Rate: Up to £500 per day Hays are working with a West Midlands-based local authority to find an experienced Interim Acquisitions Surveyor to support a strategic infrastructure programme. This role involves leading on complex property acquisitions to enable a high-profile initiative.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end acquisition processes for operational property assets.
  • Negotiate with private and public sector stakeholders to secure strategic sites.
  • Provide valuation advice and prepare reports for internal governance.
  • Collaborate with legal, planning, and other relevant internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support wider estate strategy and contribute to programme milestones.
