Description
- Manage construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour and time.
- Liaise with clients and various operational departments within the company.
- Work to minimise the costs of a project while maintaining quality and standards.
- Monitor and keep track of project progress and negotiate contracts and payments.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately.
- Provide advice on legal and contractual issues.
- Regularly report to upper management about project progress and issues.
Profile
A successful Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Surveying or a related discipline.
- Experience in managing construction projects.
- Strong numeracy and financial management skills.
- Proficiency in using computer software for project management.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
