I am looking for a Disrepair Surveyor to join a housing association in the West Midlands area. The Disrepair Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out in depth surveys and identifications of HHSRS hazards. The role offers a hybrid working approach, business mileage and a generous company pension.

Disrepair Surveyor duties:
  • Carry out surveys in line with Disrepair claims
  • Record the results of the survey, prepare and produce a detailed report outlining a schedule and specification of repair works with recommendations and budget costs.
  • Delivering major works and investment programmes ensuring it maximises customer involvement and delivery against Key Performance Indicators.
  • Delivering disrepair processes and activities on a case-by-case basis.
  • Implementation of a systematic approach to identifying and resolving building defects and insurance claims across property archetypes.

What is required for the Disrepair Surveyor role:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience in procurement and delivery of major work streams
  • Construction related degree or relevant experience
  • HHSRS understanding
  • Social Housing experience
