Job Title: DFG Officer / Surveyor - West Midlands (Negotiable Rate)

Location: West Midlands
Rate: 52.95/hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Working Pattern: On-site minimum 3 days per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced DFG (Disabled Facilities Grant) Officer or Surveyor to join a local authority in the West Midlands on a 3-6 month contract.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience delivering Disabled Facilities Grants within a local government setting

  • A solid working knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Strong understanding of relevant building and planning regulations, including:

    • The Building Safety Act

    • Health & Safety legislation

We are open to candidates from various levels with relevant DFG backgrounds. While AutoCAD proficiency is desirable, the right candidate with strong DFG delivery experience will also be considered.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in DFG surveying, assessments, or project delivery

  • Understanding of adaptation works and housing legislation

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a local authority environment

  • Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week on site
