Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Grinder & Deburrer to join a well-established machining and fabrication specialist based in the B33 area of Birmingham.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for using a 4-axis angle grinder to dress mild steel and aluminium welds, preparing parts for powder coating. You'll be working as part of a skilled team producing high-quality fabricated components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grinding, deburring, and dressing welds on mild steel and aluminium
- Preparing components for powder coating
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Working from job sheets and verbal instructions
- Using hand tools and power tools confidently and safely
- Proven experience as a Grinder/Deburrer
- Competent with 4-axis angle grinders
- Experience with mild steel and aluminium
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of fabrication processes is desirable
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
- Friday: 07:00 - 13:00
- Pay up to 14.00 per hour, depending on experience
- All PPE provided
