Maintenance Supervisor

My client have been successfully manufacturing for years in Birmingham and manufacturer specialist metals including Ingot, slab, coil, bar, sheet and more. They supply mainly into the Aerospace industry amongst other industrial sectors and are now looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team.
Duties of the Maintenance Supervisor Role:
Responsibility for supporting the growth of the manufacturing operations across the factory managing a team of 9 engineers in total.
You will be working in a heavy industry environment working on machinery such as foundry equipment, furnaces, large presses, vacuum systems and forge furnaces.

Experience required for the maintenance Supervisor:
- 5 years experience as a maintenance engineer from manufacturing
- Ideally level 3 and apprenticeship served but would also look at level 2 if experience is within a similar environment
- at least 2-3 years of supervisor/team leader experience
- experience with Hydraulics is advantageous
- Experience as a supervisor from any manufacturing environment considered
