Vehicle Hire Booking Agent

Birmingham Business Park (B37)

Up to £25k plus £200 bonus per month (£13.73 p/hour)

Monday - Friday between 8.30am - 5.30 (35 hour working week)

1 x Saturday per month (3 hour shift) (paid at overtime)

Southam Selections are currently working with an Accident Management company who specialise

in providing mobility solutions to insurers, brokers and fleet providers. They are looking to take on

a Hire Booking Agent who can deal with all aspects of vehicle hire bookings.

You will be working in a modern office environment and a team of 12 others who all help and

support each other within the role. You will be passionate about customer service and going the

extra mile for your clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vehicle hire and repair bookings, online or via telephone.
  • Record customer information, including taking payments.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers, resolving queries and providing progress updates.
  • Arrange delivery and collection of hire vehicles.
  • Represent the business and our panel of suppliers in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in vehicle hire / rental are desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in car rental or vehicle repair is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided)
  • Flexibility in working hours, with shift patterns available, including some Saturdays (35 hours a week)
