Job Title: Fabricated Welder
Location: Kingswinford
Pay Rate: 14.00 - 18.00 per hour (DOE)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Full-time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fabricated Welder to join our client's team in the Kingswinford area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with heavy steel up to 100mm thickness, delivering high-quality fabrication and welding work.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld heavy steel components (up to 100mm thickness) to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering plans.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fabricated Welder in heavy steel fabrication.
- Ability to work with steel thickness up to 100mm.
- Strong knowledge of MIG/TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must pass an interview and weld test.
