Responsibilities
As a Remedial Plumber, you will:
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a personable and professional approach.
- Read and interpret site plans and schematics.
- Order and track materials and equipment for specific tasks.
- Maintain clear and concise records, including photographic evidence, ensuring all documentation meets company standards.
- Coordinate effectively and maintain strong customer-facing skills.
- Manage stock levels and ensure company property, including vans and tools, are well-maintained.
- Survey jobs and produce accurate quotations.
- Travel nationwide and occasionally stay overnight when required.
- Adhere to company standards, including wearing the uniform and maintaining a professional appearance.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (essential).
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
- Experience with PASMA and IPAF (desirable).
- Heating pipework experience (desirable).
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:
- Visiting commercial and industrial sites to carry out plumbing and water hygiene tasks.
- Collaborating with clients to ensure their water systems are safe and compliant.
- Managing your schedule effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Maintaining high standards of work and professionalism at all times.
