Site Welder required for a long-term project in the Birmingham area, with demonstrated expertise in welding and fabrication of steel bridge structures. B7 4RU
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
CSCS Required
Flux Core and MMA experience essential
Proficient in FCAW (136/138) and MMA (111) welding of mild steel.
Skilled in the following welding positions with evidence of recent coding: preferably 6G; if not, 3G, 4G, 3F, and 4F will be considered
Comfortable working with steel exceeding 50mm in thickness especially in the overhead and vertical positions.
Ability to set up and perform air gouging (site testing required).
Pay Rate and Benefits:
Pay rate: 30.85 per hour (PAYE basis)
Monday to Friday 10-hour shifts
Time and a third after 10 hours
Time and a half on Weekends
Lodge/Digs if you live over 50 miles away from site you can be entitled to 50.13 per day everyday you work.
