Role responsibilities
- Leading audits from planning through to completion for a range of clients across different sectors
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with relevant standards
- Supervising on-site teams and providing guidance to junior staff during fieldwork
- Building relationships with clients and acting as a main point of contact throughout the audit process
- Identifying and resolving technical issues with support from managers and partners
- Monitoring budgets, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining high-quality standards
- Contributing to internal audit process improvements and best practices

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified
- Experience working in audit within an accountancy practice
- Confident leading audits and preparing statutory financial statements
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
