An opportunity has arisen within this growing, Bishops Stortford based manufacturer of products into the Manufacturing, Engineering and Scientificindustries for a Production Operative to join its production team.
THE ROLE
Located in Bishops Stortford within travelling distance of Harlow, Braintree, Chelmsford, etc, the Production Operativeis responsible for a range of assembly work including engineering spares and accessory products, operational processesand kit replenishment to assembly lines.
- Prepare production equipment, efficiently and effectively.
- Assembly of machine accessories such as baskets, hose connectors and trollies
- Making sub-assemblies and spare parts for engineer orders including electrical and mechanical products
- Clean and prep of tanks, application of transducers prior to oven curing, dismantling jigs to dispatch product to assembly lines, maintenance of machines and general house keeping of blasting and bonding areas
- Manufacture of finished goods and sub-assemblies for production lines
- Stock management and kit out assistance when required
THE PERSON
In order to succeed in the role of ProductionOperative you will need a mechanical aptitude along with an understanding of toolsetc. You will need to be a practical person with experience of working within an engineering/production environment. Finally you will need to be a good communicator and team player.
