Our client is a family-run food distribution business based in Hatfield Heath, committed to delivering quality products and excellent customer service. They're seeking a Class 2 Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Role Overview:
This is a multi-drop delivery position, averaging 15-20 drops per day. You'll handle manual deliveries of boxes weighing up to 22kg while maintaining a customer-facing role. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be responsible for processing delivery notes, customer payments, and responding to queries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Adhering to all company health and safety guidelines.
- Ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the company vehicle, you will need to undertake your pre/post vehicle checks.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A full UK driving licence.
- A valid Digi tacho card and CPC certification.
- Having your own transport is essential to reach the client's location.
