An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team at a modern business centre in Essex. This hands-on role is ideal for a motivated and skilled individual who takes pride in keeping facilities operating at their best.
You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the building and its systems, helping to maintain a high-quality environment for tenants and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- General maintenance across the business centre including plumbing, lighting, guttering and tap repairs.
- Assisting with internal office moves and furniture relocations.
- Setting up conference rooms and event spaces.
- Daily sorting and handling of post and deliveries.
- Managing the car park and providing stewarding at on-site events.
- Waste management including daily compacting and flat-pack disposal.
- Occasional cleaning duties such as spillages and toilet blockages.
- Participating in PAT testing and routine health and safety checks.
- Promptly responding to maintenance requests from tenants.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of fire alarms, lighting, and air-conditioning systems.
- Understanding of electrical systems and basic wiring.
- Ability to manage and document maintenance tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving recurring issues.
- Excellent time management and a commitment to high standards of work.
