An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team at a modern business centre in Essex. This hands-on role is ideal for a motivated and skilled individual who takes pride in keeping facilities operating at their best.

You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the building and its systems, helping to maintain a high-quality environment for tenants and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • General maintenance across the business centre including plumbing, lighting, guttering and tap repairs.
  • Assisting with internal office moves and furniture relocations.
  • Setting up conference rooms and event spaces.
  • Daily sorting and handling of post and deliveries.
  • Managing the car park and providing stewarding at on-site events.
  • Waste management including daily compacting and flat-pack disposal.
  • Occasional cleaning duties such as spillages and toilet blockages.
  • Participating in PAT testing and routine health and safety checks.
  • Promptly responding to maintenance requests from tenants.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of fire alarms, lighting, and air-conditioning systems.
  • Understanding of electrical systems and basic wiring.
  • Ability to manage and document maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving recurring issues.
  • Excellent time management and a commitment to high standards of work.
