We are recruiting on behalf of a UKAS accredited Asbestos company, who are based in the South East. Due to company growth, they are looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, who can integrate into a busy and well-established team. You will be joining a privately-owned outfit, who provide a wide range of asbestos services to their client base. Salaries on offer are competitive, and benefits packages include overtime and training opportunities.
Our client is seeking candidates who are based near to: Bishop's Stortford, Harlow, Braintree, Chelmsford, Maldon, Billericay, Wickford, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Canvey Island, South Benfleet, Romford, Grays, Tilbury, Rainham, Ilford, Barking, Cheshunt, Potters Bar, Borehamwood, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, St Albans, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
- Will have proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst within a UKAS accredited company
- Fully conversant in HSG 264, HSG 248 and UKAS guidelines
- Good written ability
- Comfortable using IT software to complete reports
The Role:
- Undertaking 4 stage clearances
- Carrying out smoke, leak, personal, reassurance and background air testing
- Being responsible for adherence to safety guidelines on asbestos removals projects
- Conducting thorough Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys
- Collecting ACM samples from site
- Writing detailed reports for clients
- Liaising with clients directly to discuss findings and provide project updates
