We're working with an established FE college based in Durham to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Curriculum Manager to lead and develop our programmes in Carpentry & Joinery and Painting & Decorating. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of construction education, ensuring our students are well-prepared to excel in the industry.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the development and management of curriculum for Carpentry & Joinery and Painting & Decorating.
  • Ensure the curriculum aligns with industry demands and supports student progression in Further Education and Apprenticeships.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and employers to enhance programme relevance and effectiveness.
  • Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment across the programmes.
  • Foster a supportive, innovative, and dynamic learning environment for both staff and students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and management experience in an educational setting, preferably within construction trades.
