Job Summary

As a Child Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children and young people with complex learning and physical disabilities in a safe and nurturing environment. You will work as part of a team, assisting with personal care, administering medication, and promoting a positive and engaging atmosphere.

Job Type

Temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent

Qualification/education

SVQ level 3 and SVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable.

Experience

1+ years of experience in the UK working in a residential setting with children and young people aged below 16 years.

Skills

Strong communication skills, flexibility, ability to work effectively as part of a team, understanding of professional boundaries, commitment to maintaining National Care Standards, ability to provide personal care and administer medication, promoting a positive parenting role model.
